According to relevant person in charge of the Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, after a preliminary judgment, the cause of the incident was a power failure in the 500 kV Shenzhen substation station located in Henggang Street, Longgang District. The specific reasons for the current incident are still under investigation.
It is understood that the substation in Shenzhen is divided into three levels: 500 kV, 220 kV, and 110 kV. The station is located in Liuyou Village, Henggang Town, Longgang District, and the site is 13 kilometers away from Luohu District, close to the power load. The center is charged with the task of supplying power to the Luohu District.
