Heavy truck sales climbed in November

In November and December, it is very likely that the heavy truck market will reach the end of the year with the expectation that it will break through 57,000 vehicles in two consecutive months.

The first commercial vehicle network reporter recently learned that in November alone, FAW Jiefang and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles Corporation had 16,000 vehicles and 11957 vehicles respectively, and continued to be the top two monthly heavy truck sales. Sales of Auman, Shaanxi Auto, and Hualing were basically the same as in October. Heavy- duty trucks and Hongyan declined slightly, while Beiben sold a small increase of 10% on a 2100-unit basis.

The mainstream heavy-duty truck companies performed well, causing the market sales in November to increase substantially year-on-year. As a result, heavy truck sales of 600,000 vehicles will be a foregone conclusion in the year, with a year-on-year increase of at least 11%. This outcome was unexpected for all truck companies in the first half of this year.

Most companies are expected to complete their annual goals

At the beginning of December, the total sales dust of all manufacturers in the first eleven months was settled, with uneven distribution of bitterness and happiness. Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. sold 94,659 heavy trucks from January to November, accounting for 45,381 vehicles and other automobile types. The company sold 175,375 medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, one step ahead of the 185,000 target set earlier this year. Remotely, the completion of the task throughout the year can be described as "an iron plate.

FAW Jiefang Company sold 18,000 heavy-duty trucks in November, and sold 150,000 medium- and heavy-duty trucks in the first eleven months of 2009. The total volume has greatly exceeded the actual sales volume of 134,000 vehicles in 2008. Only the heavy truck sales exceeded the sales volume in the previous month. Annual plan of 105,000 vehicles this year.

Due to the exertion of the logistics vehicle market in the second half of the year, the sales of China National Heavy Duty Truck (SCS), which is relatively weak in the tractor market, continued to slow in the fourth quarter. Its January-October sales of 106355 heavy trucks, from January to November sales of about 115,000, from the 125,000 target set earlier this year, there are still about 10,000 gap. If shipments to the dealer network in December are to be implemented, achieving this goal should not be a problem.

Since November this year, the most eye-catching sales of Futian Auman, before November heavy truck sales in the 73,500 to 74,000 vehicles, the year-on-year sales volume has soared, has far exceeded the target of 60,500 vehicles this year. Another outstanding company, Valin Motors, sold about 17,000 heavy trucks in November, an increase of more than 20% year-on-year. There was no suspense to complete 18,000 annual targets for the year.

Shaanxi Auto sold 55,390 heavy trucks from January to October, and sold 60,000 heavy trucks in the first November. There may be a small deviation from the annual sales target of 75,000 vehicles. The heavy truck sixth-ranked Beiben Heavy Duty Truck sold about 25,000 in January-November, which was basically the same as last year, but it is expected to be difficult to complete the 30,000 target set at the beginning of this year.

Because SAIC Iveco Hongyan is still adjusting, its performance is not satisfactory. At the beginning of this year, the company’s board of directors locked an annual target of 28,000 vehicles. From January to November, the joint venture company completed sales of heavy trucks ranging from 18,000 to 19,000 vehicles, which is a small distance from 28,000 vehicles.

Various manufacturers increase their expectations for next year

In 2009, through a new round of adjustments, the structure of the heavy truck changed significantly compared to 2008. The position of the top three heavy trucks has been transposed to FAW, CNHTC and Dongfeng. The original fifth-placed Auman has jumped to fourth place, and gradually pulled away from Shaanxi Auto, while Hualing also improved through distributors and product lines. Forcing the seventh SAIC Iveco Hongyan, in December, if "a struggling leap, it is expected to be among the top seven heavy trucks.

As the heavy-duty truck market is all the way to the green light in the second half of the year, companies will have a stronger confidence in next year. Most companies believe that the central government will continue to pursue a proactive fiscal policy and a moderately loose monetary policy next year. This will be a great news for the macro economy next year. On this basis, the heavy-duty truck market will grow steadily in 2010, and this year's ups and downs will not occur.

With high expectations, companies have raised their production and sales targets next year. The reporter learned that the sales task of the heavy duty trucks of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company's Shiyan headquarters in 2009 is 80,000 to 85,000 vehicles, and the target for next year will be increased to 100,000 vehicles, and the planned increase will exceed 17%. SINOTRUK is to use 140,000 heavy trucks as the 2010 annual target, and plans to increase it by 12%.

Shaanxi Auto's unsatisfactory performance this year has undergone a round of internal adjustments in the second half of the year, and in November this year put forward the 2010 target of 100,000 heavy trucks. A source told reporters, Shaanxi Auto executives have made this task to ensure the Shaanxi Provincial Government. The Beiben Heavy Trucks and Hualing Heavy Trucks will target 40,000 vehicles and 25,000 vehicles next year, an increase of 33.3% and 38.8% from the 2009 target.

Apart from optimism, there are also people who are cautious about next year. The head of SAIC Iveco Hongyan believes that sales exceeded 600,000 vehicles this year. “This figure is already very alarming. It will be pretty good to be able to maintain a similar level next year. At the same time, due to the high-level adjustment of Xinhongyan on December 1, the company’s sales target for 2010 will have to be It will not be clear until January next year.
