Cross-strait (Yangzhou) Green Petrochemical Industry Cooperation Agreement Signed

The China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Taiwan Petrochemical Industry Association, and Yangzhou Chemical Industrial Park Administrative Committee formally signed a framework agreement in Taipei. According to the framework agreement, the three parties will jointly build a cross-strait (Yangzhou) green petrochemical industrial cooperation zone with an area of ​​5.3 square kilometers. On the same day, Yangzhou Chemical Industrial Park and Taiwan’s Far East New Century Co., Ltd. also signed a contract for a refined terephthalic acid project with an investment of US$770 million.
