Benteler's 2011 revenue reached $9.1 billion

Bentel recently announced that its operating income for fiscal year 2011 (as of March 31, 2012) was 7.106 billion euros (about 9.09 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of 16% over the same period of the previous year, and business revenues of all business units have grown.

Benteler's pre-tax profit in fiscal year 2011 was 133 million euros (about 170 million US dollars), an increase of 17.9%; after-tax profit was 97 million euros (about 124 million US dollars), an increase of 21%.

The Benteler Group's investment in fiscal year 2011 was 386 million euros (approximately 494 million U.S. dollars); R&D expenditure was 107 million euros (approximately 137 million U.S. dollars).

As of the end of fiscal year 2011, Benteler's global workforce reached 25,848, an increase of 9% year-on-year.
