Repeatedly occurred 3G wireless transmission intelligent monitoring system for school bus incidents

I. Overview


Last year, more than 18,000 children under the age of 14 died in road traffic accidents in China. In recent years, school bus traffic safety accidents have become the main killer of casualties in primary and secondary school students. There are four major hidden dangers: the school bus quality is not up to standard, the driver's safety awareness is weak, the overload phenomenon is serious, and the multi-headed management is not responsible. Many of these factors involve regulatory issues. Drivers, follow-up teachers, and students are on board the car. The status of activities, etc., lacks effective supervision and monitoring by relevant departments.


It is not enough to rely on police force to conduct surprise inspections. As a long-term supervision issue, school bus transportation urgently needs to use technical facilities to carry out effective monitoring of its safe operation, and it can be used as a basis for judgment on the occurrence of an accident. China's first national primary school car safety standard "Safety Technical Conditions for Dedicated Pupils' School Buses" will be formally implemented on July 1, 2010. Dedicated primary school bus must be equipped with car driving recorder GPS, commonly known as 'black box'. However, one of the major drawbacks of school bus GPS monitoring is the inability to monitor the situation in real time and solve problems at any time.


Second, the system architecture



XW-H3000-DVR-3G is a vehicle terminal developed by Xingwei Technology's brand 666GPS. The system is based on 3G wireless high-speed transmission technology (Digital Video Record) and combines functions such as GPS positioning monitoring, car driving record, driver identification, abnormal alarm and other functions. All-weather real-time monitoring of high-definition video, effectively solved the school bus monitoring lagging defects, and, it uses digital video compression storage, RFID cards and other modern technologies, more humane and intelligent.


As shown in the figure, the system consists of a server system, fixed external network server, 3G wireless communication/Internet, global satellite positioning system (GPS), vehicle terminal equipment, monitoring center back-office six parts to form a 24 hours a day monitoring school bus transportation vehicle supervision platform.


The server system is mainly used for data storage, conversion, transfer, and transmission because the on-board terminal equipment itself does not have a large amount of data storage functions and can only be saved by the server.


The fixed IP extranet server has a fixed IP address so that the GPS terminal can actively bidirectionally communicate with the server after searching for the address so that the GPS device terminal can communicate with the server in real time.

The vehicle terminal equipment is installed on the school bus, with a camera or camera, real-time, all-around video car inside and outside the operating state.


The monitoring center facilitates school management or relevant departments to implement monitoring, management, scheduling, and tracking of the vehicle driving process. It is actually a car search platform.
