It has become China's accumulated stock and the largest amount of industrial waste. Henan Province is a large coal producing province. The annual output of raw coal exceeds 100 million tons, and about 10 million tons of industrial solid waste coal gangue is produced annually through mining or coal washing plant selection. Its utilization rate is less than 20%, giving the province its natural resources. The environment brings the pressure of secondary pollution.

Hebi City has added 1 million tons of vermiculite each year, and the volume of vermiculite has reached 10 million tons. The traditional method is to store coal gangue open-air or use it to prepare coal gangue sintered brick. Stored in the open air, not only will fly dust be carried away, but it will also release a large amount of harmful gas, and it will also pollute the water source. Moreover, the farmland that has been piled up for a long time will become poor and cannot be used. The brick making process only utilizes its filling performance, does not realize its functional processing, and has low added value.

The Hebi Jielian New Materials Company's project makes full use of the coal gangue produced by the Hebi Coal Group and the local coal mines in its jurisdiction and uses high technology to heat and melt the coal gangue in a high-temperature closed furnace. The high-temperature melts up to 1600°C are used at high speeds. Centrifugal special equipment, directly made of ultra-fine inorganic fibers. The fibers have a diameter of 0.01 to 0.05 mm and a length of 0.8 to 8 mm. Ultrafine inorganic fibers are softened and toughened by softening, modification and other treatments. They can be used as substitutes for plant fibers in papermaking, and can also produce insulating materials and other building materials.
