According to CSSC News: On February 29, Zhenjiang Zhongchuan Equipment Co., Ltd. assembled the first Wärtsilä patented 6RT-Flex48T-D marine low-speed diesel engine to the user.
It is understood that the machine is manufactured according to the latest patented technology of Wärtsilä, with a design power of 8730 kW and a fuel consumption rate of 168.3 g/kWh. The emission meets the requirements of IMO Tier II and is classified by the German Classification Society. There is no fuel camshaft and exhaust camshaft on the diesel engine, no high pressure oil pump, its starting process control, fuel injection process control based on common rail system, exhaust valve working process control, etc. are all set by opening and closing the solenoid valve. Accurately realized by the servo oil system is a fully electronically controlled intelligent low speed diesel engine. The diesel engine has high combustion efficiency and can effectively reduce the transportation cost of the ship.
