I have been participating since the first China International Auto Parts Expo. I am very surprised and lamented that the scale and momentum of this exhibition are unmatched in previous sessions. First of all, the pavilion area reached more than 70,000 square meters, while the previous pavilion area was only 50,000-60,000 square meters, and the scale is obviously different. Secondly, this year's exhibition is not just an exhibition. During the exhibition, a series of forums and matchmaking meetings for various auto parts companies and buyers were held. Exhibitors can receive good results.

Promote international exchanges. From the perspective of the automotive industry, there are many expositions in the auto parts industry, but there are few exhibitions like this that attract international buyers to visit and purchase their own branded products. The Ministry of Commerce has established such an authoritative internationalized exchange platform that caters to the current needs of China's auto parts industry for export development and effectively links China's auto parts and components with foreign markets, which has greatly promoted the Chinese auto parts industry. globalization. The world-famous auto parts exposition has exhibitions in Alaska, Frankfurt, Dubai, Paris, etc. China also needs such an internationalized exchange platform so that our products can reach the world through this platform.

Cost advantage and technology development. From the perspective of the domestic auto parts industry, foreign buyers see the low prices of our products. At present, most of the domestic products purchased by foreign buyers are low value-added. This is a prominent feature of China's auto parts industry, but it also warns the development of China's auto parts industry, when the cost advantage no longer exists. What should I do?

Our neighboring countries, such as India, Vietnam and Thailand, are also vigorously developing the auto parts industry. Although their industry foundation is not solid enough, if the cost of manufacturing components in China becomes higher and higher after a few years, this advantage will be lost relative to them. If we continue to produce low value-added products, then we will also lose foreign buyers' customers. Therefore, we must consciously develop high value-added products to attract foreign buyers. This is the way out for many SMEs. The parts and components companies must be prepared for peace of mind and strive to move further in the direction of developing their own core technologies to produce high-tech products.

China's auto parts industry has made progress in this area. Many companies have begun to develop and produce products with high added value. This time, the Expo has exhibited many modular products. We also have independent products in the field of key auto parts, which have always been weak, such as self-branded automatic transmissions produced by some companies.

New energy vehicles will participate in the transformation of parts and components companies. The new energy vehicles that participated in the exhibition were mainly self-owned brands. The development of new energy vehicles is inseparable from the research and development of parts and components. While demonstrating new energy vehicles, vehicle companies also send a message to auto parts companies. Vehicles and parts companies must cooperate with each other to develop new energy products. This requires the transformation of auto parts companies. Because it is necessary to develop new energy vehicles, the adjustment of the parts and components industry needs to be greatly improved. For example, air-conditioning systems and transmission systems must be improved.

The auto parts companies should carry out structural adjustment and transformation as soon as possible to improve their own technical content. At present, the product division of the parts and components industry is not clear, and the industrial development is not perfect. In addition, there are some “restructuring light zeros” in the national policy, which is not conducive to the development of parts and components companies. The parts and components industry needs the guidance and support of the government. We should attach great importance to the long-term development of the parts and components industry.
