Sidel's new SensofillTM FMa aseptic filler is at the core of these solutions. The main purpose of equipment design is to make the machine more flexible and easier to operate. The filling machine can be sold stand-alone or equipped on the Combi system. Combi is a three-in-one device that combines blowing, filling and capping functions. Combi is equipped with SensofillTM FMa and has a purification function. Customers can use peracetic acid for wet bottle cleaning, or use hydrogen peroxide water vapor to clean preforms. Sidel offers a variety of solutions that allow customers to choose the solution that best suits them.
SensofillTM FMa: Ultra-flexible Filling Machine
Use the flusher configuration (wet disinfection), either as a single unit or as part of the Combi, to sterilize the interior and exterior of the bottle using high-pressure sprayed peracetic acid. Pulsed water sterilisation allows the bottle to have less chemical residue and consume less water. In addition to the chemical and mechanical effects on purification, Sidel's independently developed multi-wheel technology enhances product safety. Each bottle is sterilized by multiple nozzles, and each bottleneck is thoroughly sterilized. In addition, the purified temperature and the weight of the bottle are compatible.
SensofillTM FMa with cleaning device is ideal for manufacturers who require great flexibility in beverages and bottles. With this system, product and format conversions are operated outside the nozzle to ensure aseptic filling. In addition, production can continue for 72 to 120 hours without re-sterilization because the production environment is fully controlled. This new design, sealed insulation and sterilised high-pressure air is enhanced by the air flow oriented in the filling zone.

Combi PredisTM FMa has eco-friendly performance
In the Combi PredisTM FMa configuration, the washer was replaced by PredisTM, which applied for a patent for a technology that uses hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to clean preforms. This technology ensures that the preform can be cleansed without water using only a small amount of chemicals. PredisTM was originally only available for cold chain sales of beverages and is now available for use in beverages sold at room temperature with some technical improvements. An ultra-clean dust collector preform with ionization and UV sterilization has been developed. In a controlled environment, a blower equipped with a 0.1 micron air filter and a bottleneck transfer system ensures sterility throughout the filling process.
This configuration reduces the impact of production on the environment. First, PredisTM uses less water and less chemicals. Also, because there is no thermal pressure on the empty bottles, the bottles are transported from the blowing to the filling through the bottleneck rather than through the conveyor, so the system offers great potential for bottle weight reduction.
The first Combi PredisTM has been installed at a North American bottler's factory to produce juices with or without pulp.
