Jinan Opens World's Top Engine Construction Project

The Jichai JC15 and 26/32 engine construction projects were started in Jinan City. These two products have absorbed and borrowed the latest developments in the development of the international internal combustion engine industry. Jiang Xiaoxing, director of CNPC's Jichai Power Plant, said that since the successful development of the 12V190 diesel engine in 1965, Jichai has been the main product of the 190-cylinder. This pattern lasted for nearly 40 years. Since 2004, Jichai has cooperated with AVL, a world-renowned engine research and development organization, to develop JC15, 26/32 series engine products with all independent intellectual property rights. After several years of arduous research and development and trial production, these two new products were successfully launched one after another last year. These two products not only fill the gaps in the domestic market, but also break the passive situation in which similar products rely on imports for a long time, and they will also play an active role in the rapid development of domestic engines with the same power segment and the revitalization of the national equipment manufacturing industry.

After the project is completed in 2012, it can realize an annual output of 5000 units of JC15 engines and 100 units of 26/32 engines, with annual operating income of 3 billion yuan.
