Huali meter R&D designed watt-hour meter won 2 overseas product certifications

In May, after Holley Instruments obtained the single-phase integrated prepaid STS certification in 2008, the single-phase split-type STS prepaid energy meter developed and designed by an overseas R&D team was successfully submitted to the South African STS Association for certification. At the same time, the single-phase energy meter successfully passed the Australian UL laboratory certification and obtained the certificate issued by the UL laboratory. These two certifications are two breakthrough technological achievements that have been achieved since 2010 when Holley Instruments was certified by DLMSUA.

Since its establishment in 1997, the South African STS Association has been promoting the prepayment standard of STS in the world, especially in African countries. In 2007, the STS standard, the IEC62055 series of standards, became the international standard for prepaid meters that most countries followed. The STS certificate is equivalent to the 'passport' for entering African markets. In addition to many countries in Africa that follow STS standards, this standard is also widely used in the Indonesian market. Obtaining the STS certification of the split form not only improves Holley Instrument's STS product series, but also brings huge business opportunities to Holley Instruments.

The UL certificate is a 'stepping stone' to enter the developed countries, especially Australia's high-end market, and this certification has successfully laid a solid foundation for entering the Australian and New Zealand markets. At this point, Holley Instruments successfully entered the Australian market and passed a crucial step forward.
